Do I Have a Connecticut Car Accident Case?

Do I have a Car accident Case?

Attorney McCoy was asked the following question. "As I was exiting my driveway in Hartford Connecticut, an SUV speeding down the street I live on, struck my car. My car was totaled and I required medical attention. Do I have a personal injury car accident case?"

Attorney McCoy asked several additional questions and found that even though the driver who hit this woman did not have a valid Connecticut drivers license, he was not at fault for this accident. The police issued him a ticket for driving under a suspended license and issued the woman a ticket for failure to yield. Therefore, the car accident was her fault. The police did not address the issue of speed in this situation.
